Hi. I am generally new to pricing my live rock. In short, I have a bad fish tank with a nice piece of live rock and I am looking to sell it. Before putting it on sale, I would need to know its price. What would you estimate for this beaut?

You sure? Its a big hunk of live rock with lots of stuff growing.
If you do get rid of that rock with plays, please warn them. There are plenty of clueless people out there and those things are uber-dangerous.

Incredibly toxic to a fairly absurd degree.

People get horribly sick just opening lids on containers with them in the water. Evidently it can aerosol or gas off. It can be lethal
And palys can grow quickly covering prime real estate.

I'd price it at $20 to $50 and see if you get any hits.

What do they do?
Looks like you are where I was not too long ago. I had these in my tank back in the day and had NO clue what they could do (sorry about the clueless remark, that was bad). But yeah, they can be lethal.

Locally you get about 5-8 dollars a pound for stuff like this. People on forums tend to be pretty picky on what they take home but I’m sure someone in your area likes the palys and mushrooms and I would spend a bit more.
Things are generally only worth what someone is willing to pay for them. You just got to find someone willing to pay more
