Here is my post in a general forum. Does anyone have a pressure problem around here?
I just brand new filters, including RO membrane, in my 4 stage unit. From my kitchen sink, I get nothing out of the RO. From my outside hose, I get what ou see in the video. Is this normal? I'm in Knoxville, TN as well. Maybe our water is like this? Who knows. This is my first real RODI so I'm just wondering. Thanks

Get a pressure gauge and test what the pressure is at the bib that the water hose is hooked up to. You may have a pressure regulator where your line comes in to the house.. if so it can be turned up but need to know more about plumbing of house to tell you where to set it to. I just turned my up from 40 psi to 90 psi. I can make 150 gallons in 24 hours

I'll try to pick one up this weekend I guess. Had planned on making up my water tonight and mixing it overnight.

We always tell customers that there are two "must have" tools for these RODI systems:
1. pressure gauge
2. TDS meter

Without a pressure gauge (mounted AFTER your prefilters), you're essentially flying blind. You won't know if you have enough water pressure to run the system, and you won't be able to use the gauge to tell when it's time to change your prefilters. "Prefilters" are any filters that touch the water before the RO membrane. In your system you have one sediment filter and one carbon block. Just from watching your video it looks like your waste water to purified water ratio is lower than it should be.
