I'm running a 200g with live rock only, I cant add coral b/c my nitrates are so high. Like 70 -100 on the API tests. Any suggestions?
I'm running 75g sump half ful maybe
Skimmer, filter socks changed when clogged, Bio Pellets (2 fishies), 2 Marine Pure bio bricks, One 9" brightwell brick, 95w UV sterilizer.
I dont do water changes very often as it doesnt help and its expensive for that large of a tank.
I did try to vodka dose and that didnt seem to make too big of an impact.
I also tried to grab chaeto from my reef tank which runs at 13 ppb nitrates on the low hanna checker and that doesnt grow in my predator tank with the same AI Fuge light.
Of course i feed the fish table shrimp, clams, mussels, silversides, guppies, halibut, salmon, you name it. They even got snow crab legs once and some pineapple.

tank looks amazing really! no algae in the DT

I am running a ATS ( ice cap pro medium ) on my 200 peninsula FOWLR its working great.
maybe an option.
