Took chemi-pure out when I first started using prazipro 6 days ago.Chemipure will remove medication from the water.
Have you been using Chemipure or Prazi for the last 6 days?
Not only will chemipure remove it but UV sterilizer too will break it down. You can tun a skimmer but remove collection cu the first 48 hours and add aeration as it reduces oxygenWill Chemi-Pure Blue remove this medication? I'm using it in my 20G QT for last 6 days.

Prazipro (both its glycol solvent and the praziquantel itself) are degraded by bacteria. That means that after three days, it’s all been broken down. The only reason to do water changes after treatment is to reduce the nutrient levels that are produced by the bacteria. Will Chemi-Pure Blue remove this medication? Jay thanks for the valuable info. So what would be better than using prazi?Prazipro (both its glycol solvent and the praziquantel itself) are degraded by bacteria. The speed of this degradation increases as the bacteria grows with each Prazipro addition - after about five doses, it consumes the prazi before it can really start to work.
There isn’t any reef safe treatment that works better than prazi. In fish only tanks, hyposalinity for 30 days is more effective.Jay thanks for the valuable info. So what would be better than using prazi?
