Pom pom crabs in a bare bottom tank?

I have a bare bottom tank and I want to get some pom pom crabs. Just waiting on the LFS to bring some in.
Would they be okay in a bare bottom tank? They'll need to hang out on the rocks since the bottom is quite slippery. Can they swim/move well enough to climb rocks, move from one rock to another, and stuff?

Yeah they will move over everything. Climbing is not difficult for them.

As soon as your get Coraline or other things encrusting in the bottom glass they will have plenty to grip on. You should be all good even before that happens.
