2012 PolandSprings Zoa/Paly Growout
Allright this is the official thread for the PolandSprings zoa/paly growout. I am starting this thread to facilitate communications between members of the growout and to finalize the pack details. I am currently in talks with a grower, who is a well known hobbyist with an extensive collection and a dedicated zoanthid frag tank.
The list of zoas in the pack is up in the air, PolandSprings has a very large high end collection and we are planning on a roughly 1500-2000 dollar pack purchase. I will post the list in the next post, with notes as to which ones I want, and then I will edit it as other members of the growout way in with their decisions.
The way I want to organize is as follows: As long as two or three people agree on a polyp,they can add it to the pack and split the payments between them, with all the payments being calculated upon final decision of the pack and the polyp split. It is also contingent upon grower approval of the zoas on the list, in regards to known melters and space available. I am going to attempt to keep the number of polyps we hope to grow at a relatively low number by starting off with two polyp frags when possible, as the growout will be short to avoid potential complications.
Once we figure out payment, everyone will pay their portion directly to PolandSprings, in order to eliminate any issue with money passing through multiple hands.
