We bought a Waterbox 180.5 and were getting our plumbing together and noticed the return nozzle for our pump is slightly too small for the flexible tubing that came with the tank.

We have the Syncra 5 but the tube connecting from the overflow fits loosely, it’s not snug.

Would a clamp around this be secure enough or is there another plumbing part we could get so that it’s snug and then tighten it with pipe clamps?
Can we use metal clamps or should we only use plastic?

Have you found a solution for this? My Syncra came loose a couple of times. Been thinking of welding a reducer PVC bushing to the Syncra part

Yes!
I can’t remember what fitting it was but we went to lowes and home depot, we sized the return pump and bought a plumbing fitting similar to the ones it came with but it was more flat and then shoved it in the tubing. I would take a picture of it but it’s on there pretty good
