Alright so i find myself in a bit of a situation here.
I have a dual overflow 135 gallon seapora tank Each overflow has 2 holes 1 for a durso drain and 1 3/4 inch return.
I am going to convert them into herbie overflows because i want it to be 100% silent. Trying to tune individual herbies with gate valves in the same tank is 100% a bad idea my question is can i run both 3/4" herbie drains together and either T them or Y them off into like a 1" drain directly into my reefmat 500? Then i can just put 1 Gate valve POST them joining together and tune the system with 1 Gate. This leaves me with 2x 1" emergency drains in each overflow and ill run my returns over the back. I have done many herbies in the past and love them i have just not ever tried 2 in one tank.
Let me know if i am on the right track here or if i can run into issues joining both herbies into a T or Y connection. Seems like it shoudl be fine
