Hello, as the picture shows I have a blue tang with a red spot on its tail, the photo is from yesterday and it seems bigger today, is this a wound ?

Can it be a disease ?

It’s not a new fish, I have had it since 2016, like most of my fish. I added 3 more fish one month ago after a 3 month quarantine.

Any advise ? Does anyone know what this is ?

Looks like a wound or injury which is infected and best treatable in separate tank using Seachem Neoplex or kanaplex with added aeration

Is it mostly on the left side of the fish?

Growing larger is a sign of possible bacterial infection. Agree that you could move the fish into a treatment tank and dose with a broad spectrum, gram negative antibiotic.
