Please help my sump is infested with these white things

I went to do some cleaning in my sump and noticed it’s infested with these white things… they even look to have spikes

Yeah, you've got some sponges, some pineapple sponges (genus Sycon), some spirorbid worms, and some other feather duster worms - all of the above are harmless filter-feeders.

Pineapple sponges and spirorbid worms. Both harmless filter feeders.
Ty, The tank is going on a year now… I’ve had pineapple sponges before, but they were round and actually looked more like a pineapple. These look more like worms. That’s where I got a bit creeped out.

Once your tank gets really established, get yourself a red flashlight and look around on your sandbed in the middle of the night - I lost some sleep the first time I peeked. :)
