Please help identify

Hi can anybody help me identify this I had clams for over 30 years and this is the first time this ever happened I had him for over a year and a half and all of a sudden I got this growth on him

Vemetid snail, very annoying little bugger. Just snap him off at the base with a screwdriver, kills them instantly.
