Having a hard time getting rid of this algae. I scrub it off with a toothbrush every week during water change but it comes right back. Not really any bubbles in it. More prevalent on the newer rock than the old (switched tank from a 30 to a 120 7 months ago). Usually a toothbrush takes it off pretty well. Not so easy this time. Water is stable.

To meet it just looks like bad turf algae. Almost always in my experience I have gotten that on newer rocks with higher nutrient

I’ve been able to use a stiff toothbrush previous water changes and it would come off pretty well. This time it came back quickly and has been tough to brush off the rock.

I've found peeling it away fully with tweezers is better for removal, but imo it will keep coming back for awhile until your nutrients come down or your rock fully cures/ages
I any get a grip on it with anything. It’s very fine.
