Hello all, just a quick question. So I got a pistol and a watchmen goby today. Looks like my pistol is trying to build a tunnel but will this sand work? If not is there something I can add to my tank to help it to where I won’t have to remove my sand ? Any help would be appreciated!

Looks like that size sand is fine. If not use Little pieces of Rock’s or shells. It might even carry off some frags of yours lol.
I’ll give it a try. Heard there was a bad you could buy of like crushed coral or rock or something like a chunky substrate ? Thought about getting that and putting it in that corner that he’s in possibly? But I don’t know much about it

Pistol shrimps stay busy busy. It’s preference to u and how u want your tank to look. Maybe Put a handful of rocks, shells, or old coral in the corner he’s at and c what it looks like in a few days to you? He will prolly end up going into your rocks at some point and will come out to just keep on building.
