I added a Diamond Goby last week, and the tank has been cloudy for a week! Today the tank is clear enough to get a few updated pictures, so here they are!

First a full tank shot that shows the stand and light:

Purple Tang, over my one and only Chalice coral, this was burned when it fell over into a Millepora, so that is the brown part:

My Red Planet, it is GROWING like crazy, but only out one side....

And finally a better full tank shot:

I did some re-aquascaping to accommodate the goby, I had to move most frags off the DSB. And of course, wouldn't you know the goby wouldn't come out as long as I had the camera out, but he is out and about now!

Wow! I've always loved your tank. And that purple tang is just gorgeous. One of my favorite fish. Isn't the red planet a tabling acro? Maybe it's starting to take shape. Looks great anyhow.

awesome tank!!! everything looks awesome, funny that your Red planet is glowing like that...starting to table early i guess. Your sand choice make the tank look a lot different than everyone elses..keep up the good work!

what is that stuff that is below the purple tang in the pic with the chalice...that orange stuff?

Thanks, yes I hear it is supposed to table, but it is only branching from that one side. I did cut a VERY small frag from the other side to try and stimulate growth over there too.

I think it is some coralline algae, or maybe a sponge?

Very nice tank, I really like the substrate. nice selection of sps also.

Thank You. The substrate is called Gray Coast from SeaChem. Sea Chem says it is supposed to help maintain Magnesium levels, I haven't had that happen for me, my Mg levels are always around 1000, where I would prefer 1200-1300ppm.

Very Nice Tank. Love what looks like a custom light fixture.

Thank you, it is a custom fixture, I made it myself!

Nice! What size is that tak? And what's that stag-ish acro at the left center of the tank?

Poseidon do your candy canes stay happy on the substrate? Ive got a colony that is growing very fast and would like to keep the rock space for my SPS.

Pat- ROTFLMAO

Ryan, yes they are very happy on the sand. actually they grow where ever I put them! I even had them in the shadow of my caps on the right side of the tank, and they grew well there too.
