CONGRATULATIONS!!!

You have been chosen for the BLOOD BATH ... I mean contest!

This thread will be used for monthly submissions of frag pictures.
Discussions are welcomed but please TAG ME @lynn.reef.nerd, @Reefing102, and @BranchingHammer when you post pictures so we can easily track status.

A reminder of the rules:
1) Competition will last for 1 year (365 days from when you receive your piece)
2) The 1st month submission must be within 3 days of receiving your frag.
3) The last submission must be 365 days from receiving your frag or sooner. NOT later

4) A ruler must be against your frag for every months’ submission picture.
5) A picture must be submitted by the end of the month, every month.
** You can submit anytime during the month but it must be submitted by the last day of the month.
** You are allowed to miss 1 month of entries. If you miss more than 1 month you will be disqualified.
** I will try my best to track and send you a reminder but there are no guarantee.
** A post will be made by the 7th day of the next month on who will continue.

6) You can remove the coral from the plug and mount it anywhere that you choose. If placed on a disk it can be moved around the tank.
7) Adam from @Battlecorals will pick 3 winners to go to a voting process open to the public.
8) The prize will be based on the number of entries. The prize will be split and will be a gift certificate to BATTLECORALS depending on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place.

I didn't see anywhere in the rules about asking how they were grown in. ie; alk, par, ect...
Can/could we get details on this information? I understand if you can't give them out... It is a contest.

In the last one, people didn't post parameters, and it is not required, but you could always ask haha. At the end, the winners will usually share the conditions that the frag was in, which is helpful for all of us!

LOL, like I said, it's is a contest.
But, I don't know if battle coral uses halides, led, ect.. It would be helpful, but again, it is a contest.

Edit: I wasn't asking about people in the contest giving parameters.

Don't underestimate yourself now ..... you can do more than 12 inches

How do we know everyone's ruler is up to the standards of weights and measures compliance code section 14-2? Have Johnny 3d printable ruler out there fudging inches..lol

Adam will contact you with details. I know he finished cutting the 40 pieces of Blood bank and is waiting for them to heal. He will send them all out and declare a start date.

Ok guys. Now that the list for the blood bank has been finalized, you’ll here from me through private message right here on reef2reef with sone simple instructions on how to go about getting your contest frag, and sone shipping details.

I’ll go down the list starting at the top, so if you don’t hear from me by the end of the week, please shoot me an email

Otherwise you’ll be hearing from me soon!

The Bank frags were cut this weekend so I imagine we’ll probably start shipping them out in about 3 weeks. We’ll go over all of that through email for sure.
