they've actually opened up fully now..I'm just taking a break from getting ready for a trip to NC on Saturday ... I will try to get a better picture of them in a bit

Packing for two people and 4 dogs isn't easy...LOL

They are more red... I will get another pic tomorrow... my gf hijacked the camera to try and get used to it b4 vacation.

This pic is a little better... I still need to play with the camera more..this was using the 'super macro' mode...but the colors are deeper than this...

My gf's brother has the previous model of the camera...he is going to give me pointers on it during our vacation..

I'll try and post some vacation pics while we are there too
