i bought the Lab Grade Double Junction pH Probe from brs back on january 17th. had problems at the git go from the moment it was received. contact brs that following monday. told them that it arrived bone dry and that it will not work properly. they told me to contact neptune. so i opened up a case with neptune. I told them the same thing it arrive bon dry and it will not work. they told me to restart my apex and calibrate it. so i did. i finished the calibration. it appeared correct until this past week. my reading on my ph is jumping from to as high as 8.5 maybe more. greatly disapointed in brs and apex products. i will be going with another ph probe that is not a pinpoint, apex or brs probes.

If BRS sold you a dried out probe, it is incumbent on them to replace it - not palm you off on Neptune.

Talking to Neptune is their problem, and they have more clout to get their stock replaced by Neptune than you do.

I'd make a lot of noise with BRS

If it was part of an Apex controller, then Neptune should replace it. Have you calibrated yours yet?

From what I gathered from the OP's original post, he bought it separately, not part of the original probe that came with the Apex.

I believe BRS bought Neptune ~2 years ago so it's essentially one company (or subsidiary). It's a shame for BRS to pass the buck! I agree with @gbroadbridge -- I would raise hell with BRS, they sold the product.
