Ph chemistry Having trouble

Hello fellow reefers I have an issue to where my ph does not raise always stays at 7.8-7.9 sometimes raises sometimes drops to 7.75 my water parameter are
Salt .025
Alk 9.9
Calcium 440
Mag 1390
Ph 7.80
After my main tank lights are on my refugium lights comes on and stays on till main tank lights come on I also have cheato in my refugium I just started kalkwaser on my auto top off 2 teaspoons per gallon i took readings on water parameters last nite and took some this morning and it seems to bring my alk up now it's at 10.20 this morn
Thetank is in a well ventilated area I've allso treid routing a hose to fresh air for my Protien skimmer didn't help any suggestions thanks in advance

I would suggest a new test kit first, what are you using now?

If your tank is doing fine don't fight it!!!! My ph runs around 8.0 and I don't bother with it every thing is fine and doing well... I tried and did successfully kept it at 8.3 one time and it was a chore with major dosing... I didn't notice any difference so I let it drop and stay were my tank likes it...
