I have a tank with a canopy in the living room, and have been planning for a rimless upgrade.

How are you handling light bleed issues?

The canopy makes light mounting difficult, but it allows us to enjoy the tank from the couch without getting blasted by LED lights

How have you guys dealt with this? Light shades enough?

We have an extremely high ceiling so hanging a shade/canopy won't work - at least not pendant st yle.

Depends on the lights. That's why the light spread angle and size of lights is a major consideration when in the planning stage. Can somewhat be alleviated by rotating lights, if rectangular, or moving closer to the water line.

I was thinking of radeons until I realized it would be this

Now I’m wondering if some hydra 32s might be better - or Radeon’s with shades

(But the reality is most shades are 3d printed and look a little jank because of that)
