Like the title says, i think the eye thing is due to old age, ive had both of them for around 7 years. The one without the eye problem has been acting great for a long time until right now. He started breathing heavy and is laying on the sand sometimes. Please note i just did a water change after dosing rally pro for 4 days, so it might just be stress. I have 2 clowns and 1 other pajama that are not breathing heavy.

I am more concerned with the other one breathing heavy.

Generally at 2.5-3.5 years of age, they start to slow down with activity, feeding and do more hiding. However, assure ammonia hasnt risen nor has salinity or temperature become elevated

Is it relatively normal for pajama cardinals to lay on the sand even if its not on its side.

Can be aggression, injury, age as examples.

If the fish is still alive this morning, can you post a short video under white lights? Linking to YouTube works pretty well.

Honestly i think it might have been old age, i did a water change and two of them died in a short time period.
