I was looking at running ozone.
I have plastic egg crates in the tank holding up rock work.
I was watching a video that had a manufacturer of an ozone unit and heard that ozone can cause damage to certain types of plastic.
Should I not bother with ozone as I don't like the idea of my rock work collapsing and breaking the tank ?

You will have to filter all the effluent over carbon, both the water and the air, no ozone should enter the tank itself once the water and air leaves the reactor. It will cause lung issues if you inhale ozone and the oxidation effect of getting ozone into your reef will kill your fish. Luckily it is easily taken out of air and water with carbon.
