Just upgraded tank sizes to a 525XL, wondering if oversizing a magnet cleaner would be problematic.
I've always had cleaners that fall off too easily or don't do a good job cleaning the glass.

Would a Great White Algae Free cleaner be overkill for the 525XL 5/8" glass?

Great white is extremely strong. You may have to put some muscle to move it around but would work, mako and piranah should work also

This is fantastic feedback. Tiger Shark and Hammerhead both seem to explicitly state 5/8" glass.
I also have a 3/4" acrylic frag tank that I'd like to be able to use the cleaner on.

Maybe I'll lean towards the Tiger Shark?

I use a Tunze Long on my RSR 525XL, works well. The long side of the blade doesn’t clean as well in this tank as the Tunze I use in my RSR 250 due to the thicker glass but the short side works fine. I do have to be more careful using it in the larger tank however as the magnetic bond isn’t as strong as the smaller tank. I can still get it around corners just fine however.
