Orphek mounting bracket

I recently got an orphek v4 compact and then ordered these brackets from BRS and im having some trouble getting the bracket to fit over the rim of my tank. Any one els have this issue or have success getting it on??

These look like rimless brackets.

I believe these are for rimless setups, I purchased the extension kit and mounted them to the back of my stand. Let me know if you would like pics and need any assistance.
