orange enveys and OPE's are not the same thing.

theres still a debate as to whether OPE's actually exist. or are they rather just faded out RPE's. no one to date has yet to show a picture of an OPE and RPE side by side in a tank after given ample time to acclimate to current tank conditions.

also, the colors coming from digital pictures can be very decieving. as well as the type of bulb over the tank.

I agree that RPE and OPE are the same. I've got some true RPE's that had a lot of orange in them under certain lights, but more red under other lights. All bulbs were in the 12-15K range (MH-Sunburst 12K's, XM 15K, and Iwasaki 14K's). I think that as they acclimate to the new lights , they are going to be much more red.

I wasn't gonna mention it yet, but you should see what these are coloring up to now that they are under Metal Halides...I'll get some pics of them with my RPE. (This is the pic of them a couple months ago under PC)

Most of them actually grew into polyps, that pic was when they were freshly put into my tank from the wholesaler. I've fragged them a few times, and given a few of them away to see what they do in local tanks. I'll get a pic up of them tomorrow, they look quite different.
