This is my JBJ45 reef after one year and counting. Had a slow start to the build which is why there are still lots of open spots for more corals, so it's a bit of a blank canvas. Have pretty much avoided big mishaps I think from being very consistent with weekly water changes.

Running no skimmer, no fuge, just filter floss and live rock. Dosing 1ml NOPOX per day, nothing else.

Would love recommendations for some cool Palys (pics). Favorite coral I have is the Mind Blowing Palythoa in the corner.

Awesome tank! Love the nem, it will definitely look amazing once it grows a bit. Something like a torch above your candy cane would look like. I don't pay much attention to plays so I wouldn't know what to reccomend
Thanks @Alexreefer ! I have been hoping to get an Aussie Gold torch but haven't come across one at the right time (or when I have the $$$ lol). I think I'll leave the top rocks open for when I eventually get some SPS (hopefully).

Haha good plan, I think your hydra should be ok with sps as long as they are up higher like you said.
