? on blennies

Ok so I picked up a yellow tail fang blenny today, been in the tank fine saw him eat not I don't know where he went ? It's been about an hour now and hes just been gone ! I have egg crate on top. Do they jump or bury themselves ? Maybe hes hiding ? Any help please I don't know alot about blennies.

I found him he was hiding along the trim of my tank

I was looking around my tank on the outside for like 30mins..... jeez haha

Thank you ! Yeah I work at a LFS and after we got him in I was like there's no way hes going home with anyone else :D

lol. yeah ive always thought they were georgeous, i was always too afraid too with the poision fangs and all lol

No not that poisonous at all. The poison is used to bite the inside of a predators mouth so they will spit him out. More like a bee sting really.

Hiding.....Mine used to do that all the time, he would even sleep vertically tucked in the corner of the tank, or on top hiding in the trim of the tank. I had mine for 2 years with an Open top, then about 2 months ago I had noticed him missing. Found him looking like fish Jerky behind the tank :( was one of my favorite fish too.

I have always thought they were really pretty but neve took time to look up the poison part....

Always thought they were nice looking fish, but never considered them due to being poisonous. What's their temperment like, peaceful?
