I've been putting up a couple pieces of this a year, and we're at that point again this year. I have lots of positive feedback from well known and respected reefers and have shipped these all over the country over the years.
I got out of collecting chalices a long time ago, but I've always kept my original Tyree Aquascene Goldeneye chalice. I've had this since 2006 and have lineage (Tyree lost his). While there are a lot of no-name and re-named Watermelon type chalices out there, this one always draws your attention. More importantly, it doesn't get any healthier than this....12 years in my tanks and grows fast!
I have two healed mounted frags that are now at the point where they are colored up, growing fast and ready for a new home. I also have a larger chunk that I am going to cut (to start a couple new ones), so if you are interested in a larger piece now is the time. I prefer to cut whatever pieces I need all at once and then let it totally heal, and generally I only cut this once a year.
Currently under t5/Led combo at 8.1/420 getting a lot of indirect washing flow. I have kept this coral in a crazy range of conditions and get slightly different coloration depending on light/nutrients/flow.
Terms:
$60 each for the two pictured (smaller one has 3 eyes, and larger one has 2 eyes)
I am in Ocala, FL but I travel to Orlando and Tampa regularly. I can meet anywhere along the way, or I can make a separate trip and meet you within a reasonable distance if going some other direction.
I will also ship in-state via UPS ground (approx. $15) or out of state for actual cost ($60-80 typically/ $100 for West coast; I will include some freebies to help offset that).
I accept Paypal or postal money order, or cash in person.
