In the wild Discordipinna griessingeri is found alone or in pairs, they have been known to pair up in captivity but identifying males from females is unknown - Theories have emerged like the amount of spots however I believe that is false and each specimen has a different amount of spots. It is however known they are like other gobies and they are Hermaphrodites. Can they live in groups or pairs? If so you should 100% get multiple!
The guy apparently had been preselling them for the past few days so he only had one not reserved. I got to pick from among several though and picked the biggest, most active one! I also picked up a couple beautiful giant orange sun coral heads fixed to a rock, sand and light for the tank of course, as well as some extra live rock to make the scape more interesting... really wish I could've gotten 2 or 3 though...In the wild Discordipinna griessingeri is found alone or in pairs, they have been known to pair up in captivity but identifying males from females is unknown - Theories have emerged like the amount of spots however I believe that is false and each specimen has a different amount of spots. All post a pic of mine when I get back!I know I’ve shown you this photo @livinlifeinBKK however I’m sure @1epauletteshark will love it
This was my old Griessingeri when I first got it, and it is one of the first photos I got of him. That Aquilonastra star next to him is about 1-1.5mm from leg to leg.

Thats a shame but there might be another opportunity in the futureThe guy apparently had been preselling them for the past few days so he only had one not reserved. That's sad...I'm sorry for your lossAlso I'm not sure if you saw in the other thread @i cant think but my little YBPW has passed away.
Thank you. I am just still not sure why exactly. From my experience I don't agree with the beginner tag put on possum wrasse, they are very mysterious, easily picked on, hard to diagnose if anything is wrong, very sensitive, hard to feed and much more. That's sad...I'm sorry for your loss
I'm going to put in a preorder today for 3 when they come in next! Please do!
