Ok did it yall. I will be posting pictures soon. Which I set up a brand new tank with new water and I will be trying to get the water parameters just right. Anyone know which salt is best? Anyone know what’s a good beginner fish and coral?

Which salt is best is like asking which speakers sound best, lol.

I like/use Tropic Marin Pro-Reef because it's pharma grade, has great parameters, mixes clean and stores for extended periods. It's probably the most expensive, though.

Instant Ocean Reef Crystals is very popular as it's a lot cheaper - but it does have higher alkalinity.

Red Sea has some good natural salts, but I'd probably stick with the blue bucket as the black bucket has really high alkalinity.
