I exam my tank often, and today I found about 6 or so round green bubbles on the stalk of a Duncan coral - I carefully inspected the rock, and other corals, etc, and thankfully none are to be found.

I'm assuming and confident that these are bubble algae. Should I pull out the Duncan out of the tanks, scrape the stalk with a credit card, rinse it with RODI water, and put 3.25% peroxide on the stalk, and rinse with tank water and then put it back in the tank? Trying to determine what the best steps are to remove and prevent future outbreak.

How long can I have the Duncan Coral out of water?

Appreciate the help.
