Matt, If conditions are optimal (I still have no idea exactly what these ideas are, lol, maybe strong lighting???) hammers will grow! like weed! I don't really understand how mine got crazy like that over the course of 2-3 years, little hammer heads were sprouting out of everywhere on the branches (see pic) and they would grow fast... it became a problem as they would sometimes sting other corals...

Well this guy is under T5's on a 29 gallon tank with a VorTech MP10es doing the stirring. So it gets great flow and lighting. Just ordered some food for him too… he will be getting the treatment. There is also at least 8" of space around him at the moment...

wow, some very impressive euphy's in this thread..

here are mine:

top down of my frog

it's currently about 8-9 full heads, some are splitting, and I have 2 baby heads popping out of the skeleton. this started off as a single head about a year and a half ago. I wish my gold torch grew that fast..

gold aussie torch, this thing GLOWS bright gold/yellow, unfortunately my phone won't pick it up, any tips? or do I just need to pony up and get a real camera? this is the best picture I have for showing color, but it looks dull, but trust me, it's glowing bright gold.

here's the same torch in my old 15g tank hosting my black clown
