Marine, you're nano looks wonderful! I love those blastos and ricorda. I have the same nano, what do you do for flow and filtering in yours? Mine is really getting 'dusty', needs to be cleaned out with some kind of filter or something.

Thanks Kammy..

mine is the first 12g JBJ that came out so I have 4 chambers in the back

1st chamber: LR but what I suggest for you is if you decide to do LR, I would put them on a net type bag so when you do water change you can suction the detrius out of the first chamber and swoosh the bag in the water you suctioned to clean the rest of the LR.. the dirt will come off but the creatures on the LR are still there.. :)

2nd chamber: sponge filter (just one)

3rd chamber: just the heater

4th chamber: stock pump for return

it's an open top.. I have a HOB Prizm skimmer

and lastly, I bought a surface skimmer from a guy here locally and it has made so much difference.. water surface is as clean as it can be.. it's the magnet type skimmer but made with courean (sp?)...

hope that helps..

where are your updated pics with the MH fixture?
