Hey everyone,

So I started this tank in August, so far everything is going great,

We upgraded from a 10 gallon to a 20 long, added some new coral (Soft only) as well a Royal gramma who seems to be fitting in really nicely.

This is from the 10:

And these are the from the 20 so far.

I am looking maybe to add a few more fish (if possible) and some more soft corals.

If there any improvements or recommendations (fish or coral), thoughts, or any feedback I would love to hear, looking to learn and improve in the hobby and journey.

Thank you!

I have a 20l I set up a few months ago I like the long, I started it with hob filters. Plans changed quickly ;)
Oh wow this is a really cool setup,

Why did you change the from HOB to the whole bottom?

I unfortunately don't have the space for a refugium and sump, so I cant do it, as of now.

thanks!

i changed from hob only because i started to add more equipment and it all just took away from the tank, its in my front room everyone kept asking why i had that giant plastic thing in the tank (a tunze9004 skimmer) so now i have all my equipment, the ATO , dosing pump and 2 heaters out of the tank and in the diy sump.

nothing wrong with hob filters, thats what i wanted originally, i ended up changing mine not because of the hob's but the other stuff actually, and ive had other saltwater aquariums on hob filters with great success!
