October Meeting-Spooky Halloween Party at Mel's House

Hey guys, I posted an event of FB for our meeting but I thought I'd post it here too.

October meeting will be Sunday October 28th at 6:00 pm.

We're carving pumpkins and eating Halloween-themed treats! It's close to Halloween so your pumpkin should still be fresh for Halloween night. We'll also have ready to decorate sugar cookies for the kids to decorate so feel free to bring the little ones.

There will be a prize for the side dish that's most Halloween themed and a prize for best costume.

I will get an extra pumpkin or two but if you want to carve a pumpkin make sure you bring your own. Kroger, Wal-mart, and Target all have them for around $4 or you can get a super giant one from Sams for $10.

yaaaay! I'm serving chili as usual...just cannot decide on white or regular chili.

I think Randy (who may or may not be there) prefers white as well. I can't decide. Regular is easier on Jake's delicate constitution but don't tell him I said that.

Won't be able to make it. Sunday evenings don't work for me. Plus, I've missed the last 8 or so - can't break that record now.

I have better prospects for making the November meeting. Would be nice to see everybody again.
