A few months ago I noticed my Pokerstar Montipora had begun to recede a bit. Fast forward to today and the colony is absolutely destroyed. I also had a purple Montipora that never seemed to take off. It would grow a few inches than melt away along the edges. I figured there was something wrong with my water parameters that was effecting that species of coral.

I relocated a chunk of the Pokerstar to a smaller tank and one night I noticed a very small, white, feathered worm patrolling the edges. I took a flashlight to my main reef and sure enough all the sick corals had these little nudibranches hanging out in the effected areas.

I hear physical removal is a good option (there doesn't seem to be that many, maybe a dozen). Anyone had experience with these white nudibranches before?

If there monti eating nudis then take out montis and scrub w a tooth brush, dip in revive. Although dipping does not kill the eggs! If its been a few mths im sure you have more then a dozen. I batteled these a few yrs ago and just threw out the corals that were run of the mills! might try useing a choris wrasse to help get a handel on the the issue! Good luck

I dipped and dipped and they always came back eventually. Finally I ditched all the monties for a few months and they went away.
