This nudibranch came off an acro frag I had given to a local reefer. This looks like the pics I see of zoanthid-eating aeolid nudis, but my system has zero zoas and is 95% acros/other SPS. Anyone seen or had experience with finding this type of nudi in an acro tank?
It's a well established 7 year old system, I have not added corals in over a year, and I can see no apparent damage to any corals or signs of infestation. I dipped the other frags on the rack it came from and the two colonies I took the frags from and have found nothing else.
Thoughts? I'm not sure if this could be a benign nudibranch that inhabits my system. I don't want to be a source of pests for my community, obviously, but at the same time I don't see any type of issues with my corals. It would be great to hear from anyone with similar experiences or opinions.
