Im wondering if i should hold off on dosing Neo Phos and Neo Nitrate and let the NO3 and PO4 raise naturally?

One perspective: achieve your goal of higher nitrate and phosphate right now, exactly like you want versus guess how much add organic material to add to the tank and wait for heterotrophs to convert it to nitrate and phosphate, then buy equipment and chemicals to reduce excess phosphate and/or nitrate generated by heterotrophs and then dose nitrate and phosphate anyway because you still aren’t happy with the levels :)

Just a word of caution.....

That .02 may very well be 0, and is well within the test kits margin of error. I personally would never run that low, and I would never overfeed the tank to achieve a higher number.

Dosing exactly what I need is a much safer and cleaner way to achieve the goals I'm looking for.
