Lets see everyones lighting settings.... please include distance from water as well as the time stamps being used. Wifi versions or non wifi versions accepted. Would like to create a thread where we can all share current settings and distances from water line to show what works and performs best for users that are contemplating getting these lights so far my corals are loving them. I am still powered down slightly for acclimation as these lights were just installed. Will be ramping up soon and would love to see everyones input.... @tbrown3589 @Projects with Sam @Zach B @Gtinnel....minis are welcome as well. Please see my personal friend @Projects with Sam for lamp shades for all noop models....here are a few pics and some settings to start. I currently am 14in of water surface on a 15in depth from waterline to sand bed. Par levels coming soon and shades as well from the man Sam. I hope this helps everyone currently using and on the fence about ordering these lights....any and all input welcome.

I don't have the WiFi ones. K7 Pro II and K7 V3s. That's a lot of pictures... Two different K7 V3 settings and a Pro II.

Lets do your fav. Schedule and settings and why you chose it. Or pick one and tell us what it is used for? Trying to get as many diff. Lighting settings as we can to show and use between all.

I also run the non-wifi versions of the K7 V3 Pros. I have 3 lights over my 150g mixed reef that are on for 9 hours. They are mounted in a canopy about 16 inches off the water. I have my blues/semi LEDS running at 100% percent & my red/green/white at 15%. Tank is 60x24x24in

I also run 2 over my 75g nem/almost fowlr tank. These are run the same schedule but about half as much power as they are about 12in above the water line. I also like to run that tank a little more blue as it is in the wall of our small movie room :)

They offer great shimmer and depth penetration. Wifi can be tricky or uncooperative. Can beat the V2 and V3 with controllers

I am not a fan of having something insecure on Wi-Fi so I just use the AP connect.

With its ability to have different levels of light on six channels every hour I decided to go with a gradual on/off through the day. The peak hours are very similar to the old phoenix 14k bulbs and I have debated adjusting the curb to give this crisp color throughout the whole day.

The peak setting was modeled after color settings from the Radion G3. After comparing it to updated settings on the G5 I increased the UV spectrum to enhance coral color.

I have the mini version of this light (the K7 mini) - I am so glad that I didn't fork out 3x the amount for an AI prime HD - I believe the K7 mini is a sufficient light and does provide the necessary PAR needed to grow all coral types - I know because I have Soft, LPS and SPS thriving under this light.

Initially, when I first got it I dreaded the light because of the overflow of light rays from the fixture, but thankfully, I found a shade that's sold on Etsy for it, and I am so happy with the light and fixture ever since. With the shade it looks like a Red Sea light.

I do not have any issues with the WiFi, so I can't comment on other than that I did struggle a bit trying to get it to go to WiFi mode, but after that it was fine. Took me about 10 mins or so to figure things out and find my way through the light and how it behaves when setting up. It's a set it up and forget it type of scenario, so one should have to do it once.

@Projects with Sam sells shades for these on his website https://parlaquatics.com

I have 2 140s, 1 90, and 1 75 over my 125. @Gtinnel has 6 140s over his 125 but he keeps his percentages lower than me.
I couldn’t even tell you what my settings are for my 140’s, I would have to turn the controller on to check. I don’t think I have any channel over about 50% if even that much, but I do have a light for every foot of tank.
I also have the K7 mini over a 15g cube, but that tank is recently setup without anything in it yet, so I don’t have it set where I plan on keeping it. I’m hoping to find someone else who shares their mini qr code and I was just going to copy theirs.

I have 6 K7 V3 over a 6ft 180g 24 inch deep tank. I have them mounted in the canopy. I wasn't willing to remove the canopy so the mounting is not a work of art but it works for me. Wifi is hit or miss for me so I normally just connect via AP. I haven't changed settings in quite a while since everything is looking better than ever. I also have 3 XR15 gen4 over other tanks. I would never spend the money on the radions again after running these. One thing I don't like it the way the lens extends so far down and causes a lot of light spill. Being in a canopy it's not a problem but I just installed a Reefbreeders photon 32 over a 3ft tank because I didn't want all the light spill as this tank is in the dining room with no canopy. I don't really like the look of the shades plus the shades are 25% the cost of the light. Lights are mounted 7.5 inches off the water line. My clam is growing well under them 20230307_105753.jpg

Settings were going to be shown below but I can't connect to get a screen shot. I'm not going to rewrite this entire post as I type like a snail. But the connectivity sucks. Everytime I try to connect it becomes a project for me. But I'm not planning on changing the setting so I can live with it.
