No Room for RO unit/ Primo Water station good?

I just dont have the room to add a RO DI unit at my house, my question; Do Primo Water stations provide good reef ready water, minus the reef salt of course? Also, i see that a local grocery store has a prefill 5gal exchange program. Can this water be stored for an extended amount of time in a see through 5gal jug?

Primo should be fine as an RODI source, and yes - you can store the water for extended periods in the see-through jugs (try to store in a dark room out of direct sunlight if at all possible with sealed caps).
