Hi,
I am totally new to this new adventure. I have a 50 gallon tank, cycled and have 2 clown fish currently swimming and content (I hope). I am looking for suggestions about introducing a next fish to the tank. Not sure if I should go for cleaner work fish or not. Would appreciate any suggestions.
Thank you

Well, I'm one to concentrate on utilitarian livestock (about 85%). I want fish that will have a job. Their mortgage payment is to keep the ecosystem in some sort of balance. Of the seven fish I've decided upon five like to feed on algae. One has aiptasia on their menu. The Manderin, though, has a job to just look good!

So Greetings and Welcome to our collective obsession!!!

Welcome!
Under The Sea Hello GIF by Lillee Jean

How does your tank look so far? 50 gallons leaves with with a wide variety of fish that could have all different jobs in the tank, many colorful and captivating species.
Do you also plan on having corals in the tank, or are you looking to stay strictly with fish?
Your options are innumerable!

Hello, I'm fairly new as well and upgraded from a very small tank to a 40b. I love my clowns although I resisted the them at first. I've really love my Royal Gramma who has a playful personality and is a bright pop of color and I'm also loving a 6 Line Wrasse that is also colorful and will eat planaria I've heard as well as bristle worms. I also recently picked up a Tail spot blenny (I might be spelling these names incorrectly) and he is funny to watch pecking algae off my rocks. The blenny is new and is kind of hiding right now but he's cute because he peeks out at me from a narrow cave he found and as soon as I get up he darts out then backs into his cave like he's backing into a parking spot.

A few possibilities but the clowns can and may be uninviting with their territorial abilities
Some examples would be:
Basslets
Royal gramma
Dwarf angel
Cardinal
Anthias
Pyramid butterfly
