Hey I’ve been in this about a year and a half, got my first non nano reef about a year ago. Struggling with gha but the difficulty is part of what makes this fun. I’ve been doing freshwater since I was a little kid and I’m almost 40. Any tips on getting a gold spot rabbit fish out of a tank he’s outgrown? My tank is heavily rock scaped into a giant series of caves and tunnels and he sees the net from across the room. Here is my tank I know some fish will have to come out as they grow.

Welcome to R2R! I would try a fish trap, sometimes you can borrow them for local fish stores it’s a patient process but I’ve caught some really annoying fast fish. Nuclear option you can do a large water change get the water level down really low makes it a lot easier to net the bugger

Hello and Welcome to R2R! I just had 3 peppermint shrimp in qt and had to remove more than half the rock to get them out. I place two more yellow tangs in my main display about 8 months ago and it did not go well. I found it easy to remove them as the other tangs forced them into the corners.
