New to r2r but glad to be around a lot of experience

Hey everyone I'm new here and just going to have a lot of questions as I begin in this new world of saltwater and reefs. I have had a lot of fish tanks throughout my life mainly freshwater and one fish only saltwater tank. I am in the process of getting a 55 gallon reef tank set up but my cycle is troubling me! Welcome to the group. I was so glad I found this place. I was absolutely fed up with people on the Reddit forums. Most are people who have no idea about anything and obviously had done zero research into th hobby before buying live animals and others are so sure of what they say because they heard something from someone and perpetuate old norms or ideas. This place I believe is on the cutting edge and very positive in general. So many intelligent people who are passionate about the hobby. Welcome aboard!
