Finally getting a larger tank with a sump. I love my nano but I couldn't pass up the deal. Was getting ready to start shaping the rocks and I mistakenly picked up a rock by a old crusted over dead reef piece and as I was setting it in the plug pulled out and I threw the rock into the corner of the aquarium. Luckily, I think, it was at the top. Now I have a nice crack on the corner about 1.5 inches down from the top on the side. It's cracked thru completely on the corner. It's about 2 inches long and goes at a 45 degree thru the corner of the glass on the side. About a 1/8 from the silicone. It's the side piece. I will get a picture tomorrow I was just frustrated and went home for the night. No picture I don't even want to look at it. Is it safe being at the top as it will only have an inch of water in it or am I looking for another tank. Thanks and I hope it's in right forum. Can't wait to learn from you guys

Sorry about the crack. You are not the only one. I am there with you. My crack happened when someone lightly dropped it on my metal stand... perhaps trying to avoid crushed fingers. I tried to super glue it and the corner is solid as a rock now and doesnt touch the silicon part either, but still... the risk was too high for me. Peace of mind...

Sorry to see that. If mine wasn't at the top I wouldn't consider it. Just was hoping someone else had first hand experience on the top lol. I see lots of bottom damages out there.

What size was yours and did you upgrade with new one?
