I’m new to the hobby and starting my first tank I have a 25 gallon fully enclosed tank with live rock and 2 fish. Instead of using a power head I used an oversized canister filter that moves 650 gph of water I haven’t added any reefs yet. Do I have enough flow or possibly too much?

I could see the video, I would say your flow is on the lower side, personally I like more. I think the tank would benefit from a powerhead on the other side so that the flow can bounce off the canister return for randomized flow pattern. Nice tank by the way I like the rockwork.

I agree with Mr. Mojo, you would benefit from a powerhead on the opposite side. Until you add coral, you won't know how much flow they need, or in what direction they prefer it.

Ok I’ll keep that in mind when I start adding corals
Not just for coral. Surface agitation provides gas exchange which will help with the ph in the tank. Also useful for fish
