New tank uglies or something to worry about?

This tank has been up and running for about 6 months, but only had live stock in it for the last 2 months or so. A few weeks ago I started to notice some green patches which, over time, have gotten bigger and have spread to roughly half the rock. It has a similar appearance as moss and looks like what I see when people mention green coralline (not saying that's what it is, just what it kinda looks like). It doesn't blow off. Rubbing it with random objects that happen to be in the tank (eye dropper/julian's thing) doesn't scrape it off.
Then about a week or so ago, I started getting red hairs that were trapping (creating?) bubbles. Since then, some of these patches of red hairs have started getting denser and just this morning I noticed they had started to form on the sand as well. I can also see bubbles on the back glass, so presumably it's there as well.
I don't have my parameters on hand right now, but off the top of my head, Nitrates were around 5-10 and phosphates around .03 last time I checked. There's three fish and a cleaner shrimp in the tank right now, none of whom are interested in cleaning it and an MP10 on either end of the tank running around 50%. Oh, and it's a 40g breeder with a 20L sump.
Here's some quick pictures. Most of these were taken with AI Primes set to "turn lights on" so the tank is getting blasted with bright white light, a few of them were with a flashlight.

(Additional pictures and a link to the album if you can't see the ones I posted)

You can see in the last picture how new of a tank this is. So, my question is, is this something to worry about or am I doing everything right and I should just ride it out for a while?

Ride the wave. Remove excess by hand during water changes and manage parameters. No need for anything crazy or the miracle in a bottle being peddled to remove it. If you have a crab or snail with coraline scratch it off into a powerhead.

That's what I was hoping for. I've reduced the water changes because Nitrates/phosphates were dropping to fast with that. Plus, I have an AWC set up, but I can still get in there and pick at it.
As for the inverts coraline, I have some snails and hermit crabs in an invert QT I set up, but I think they're all pretty spotless.

There are bottles of coraline you can buy. Probably a good idea to get it growing.

When I got into the hobby 10 years ago I wish they had those coraline bottles. Now a days if I set up a new tank for someone I always use it. Get coraline covering everything and youre set. (Algae rarely grows on coraline). Good tip and good luck joe!

I actually did that. I added the pink and purple. But due to poor timing on my part, the tank had the lights off for a few months after adding them (while if was cycling and fish were in QT). I'm hoping the spores are still alive, but I should probably do it again.

Probably not. Coraline requires light to grow.

Looks like you started with dry rock?

Is there any other brands other than the Pink/Purple ones from ARCreef (the ones AlgaeBarn and BRS sell)?
Algaebarn is probably the best bet.

After I made this post, I did attempt to pluck some of that red hair like algae off the rock and it doesn't budge. Turkey basters don't blow it off, I can't get a grip on it to pull it off, it's really stuck on there (and getting longer).
I did also grab my Nitrate and Phosphate numbers, which were 1 and .01. That's abnormally low for my tank, however, I had just done a (very) small water change and had the skimmer running for a few hours (it's normally off, but that's another thread), so I blame that. I gave my corals some reef roids and overfed the fish, so I'm hoping those numbers have rebounded.
