Hi everyone, I'm looking to get the Reefer 625 XXL which is a 132 gallon tank (not including the additional gallons in the sump). I'm putting together a wishlist of fish I want to include (fish only tank with live rock), but I'm not sure if I have too many fish/invertibrates:

  • Cardinal fish (2)
    • Banggai cardinal fish; silver/black
  • Blenny (1)
    • Lawnmower blenny; green
  • Damsels (4)
    • Springeri damsel; blue
    • Blue/green chromis; blue/green
    • Ocellaris Clownfish (2); orange
      • premium snowflake
      • black ice
  • Basslet (1)
    • Royal Gramma Basslet; yellow/purple
  • wrasse (3)
    • Melanarus wrasse; blue/green (male)
    • Ruby Head Fairy Wrasse; blue/orange/yellow
    • Red Head Solon Fairy Wrasse; Blue, Green, Orange, Purple, Red, Yellow
  • Dwarf angel (2)
    • Coral beauty; blue/orange/yellow
    • Flame angel; red
  • Tangs (3)
    • Lemon tang, yellow
    • Yellow eye kole tang; yellow/brown
    • Purple tang; purple
  • Rabbitfish (1)
    • One spot foxface; yellow
  • Butterfly fish (2)
    • Pyramid butterfly; black/white/yellow
    • Schooling Bannerfish; black/white/yellow
  • goby (1)
    • Yellow Watchman Goby; yellow
Invertebrates
  • shrimp (2)
    • Skunk cleaner shrimp; red
    • Tiger Pistol (snapping) shrimp; brown
  • Conch (5)
    • tiger conch
  • Snails (5)
    • Branded trochus snail
  • Urchins (1)
    • Blue tuxedo urchin
  • Starfish 1)
    • Banded brittle star

Tang police, be nice (the tangs are all different species and I checked the amount of gallons required for each and I'm under those values). Any help if this is a good amount, or if it's too big what I should cut...

Thanks!!

Welcome to R2R... That is a fascinating list of fish, which I sure you will find an enjoyment to watch. I'm not a big fish guy, so am of limited help, but look forward to a Build Thread in the future.

Welcome to R2R!

the only things that stand out to me are the tangs and butterflies. The tangs because 132 isn’t a lot of room for swimming and to mitigate aggression. That said you’d probably be just fine with the kole tang. Butterflies because again, swimming room. Now mind you, I find myself to be more conservative when it comes to size of fish relative to tank. But yeah, having multiple 7-9” fish in a tank around 4 or 5 feet long isn’t something I’d do. One or two such fish would probably be okay
