I’ve just acquired a Pro Clear Cylinder 80-gallon tank that's been established for 2 years. It included approx. 50lbs of live rock, a sandbed, a pair of clownfish, an AI Prime 16HD light, Nero 3 wavemaker, and UV sterilizer. Given the tank's challenging design and small sump, I'm eager to hear from fellow owners who have found success with specific equipment or techniques.

Awesome! Perfect corner piece, or center piece for that matter.

Hello fellow cylinder aquarium guy. I just picked up a 55 gallon I kind of had to start from scratch other than filter and lights. There's not much information out there on the cylinder tanks. I know we run into a little bit of a design issue where we have the gallons but not necessarily the horizontal space. I feel like you might even have a notch up on me as far as filtration. I've only found a couple of videos of anybody having a cylinder tank. None of which have done any of their own rock building. You seem to have quite a bit of rock formation in yours. Could you take some closer pictures of it for me. This is actually my first saltwater setup so I'm trying to get some ideas. If I run into anything helpful I will definitely pass it along. I'm trying to figure out what exactly I should put in here as far as centerpieces. I started with a clown and a Benny.

Hey there. Stacking the LR was a bit challenging due to the tall narrow design. I aimed to use rounder pieces at the bottom to create a triangle shaped base. I then stacked longer pieces upward to create shelving, while keeping it narrow/tall. Below you’ll find a few closer photos.
