GDAY all the way from Australia!! Looking at starting up my first mixed reef tank in the coming weeks after months and months of research and following. Undecided on a tank as i have 3 options... Aqua one reefsys 255, Red sea reefer 250 and the Waterbox 100.3??? Heard and seen alot regarding the red sea and Waterbox. Well if anyone has any points or tips in tank choice that be great, till then look forward to talking and sharing tips will all.

Welcome to the hobby. I am a big fan of Waterbox.
Cheers

I have been leaning towards them as I do like the fact the skimmer/overflow is all glass and not acrylic.

Welcome to R2R, I am also looking to add either a Waterbox or Red Sea to my other tanks. It’s a tough choice, but leaning towards the WB side, well today anyway. LoL
Haha yes I completely understand, tomorrow it will be Red sea then who knows what I'll then after that. I know i will just have to walk in and but it and then its done!
Easier said than done though

I do like CADE however not a huge fan of the depth they offer prefer width than a deeper tank.

Have not really look into it. But just to make sure, when you say deeper, it not the height, right?
But now I am confused when you say wider.

LoL.. sorry..
Need my coffee this morning

Welcome to the reef. Big big fan of WaterBox Aq. Luckily one of my LFS had both the WB & Redsea on display when I Was making my final decision on which setup to purchase. I had full intention of getting a redsea but once I started comparing the two in person, WB seem to be a much more quality product In my opinion. Purchased 03/2019.
