Hi All,
New Reefer here, I started a RedSea Max Nano back in April 2022, let it cycle, and after a couple of months added my first fish: Pair of Black Ice Snowflake Clowns and a Purple Firefish, I also have a FireShrimp and a couple of Trochus Snails. I haven't added any corals yet, as I'm waiting for the tank to be stable enough. I'd like to take things really slow to try to avoid issues.
Thanks all.

Welcome! Glad you joined. Agree patience is the magic in this hobby, so you are on the right path.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID). Looking great in photo.

This might help you find people local to you in Atlanta:

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:

Great, thank you for the info, I will try creating my own Build Thread, not sure how to start though.

Great, thank you for the info, I will try creating my own Build Thread, not sure how to start though.

This below is the info with links they gave me when I was new:

One fun way to learn from others and keep a record of your reef aquarium is to create your very own build thread! A build thread is just a thread that tells us about your aquarium and might include photos. You can create your build thread in one of these forums. MEMBER'S AQUARIUMS

Once you have created a build thread then you can get your VERY FIRST USER BADGE! YAY! It's easy to do and I have created a thread that tells you how to do it here: BUILD THREAD BADGE

Welcome!

You're setting a similar pace to my first tank, I researched to death any object or creature before adding it to the aquarium.

Did your blenny spurn your barnacle shells?
He loves his Barnacle shells, he sleeps there and every time he feels threaten.

Cool. I'm thinking of getting a tailspot blenny and might get some.
I think have a place to hide like the barnacles helps a lot to avoid him to get stressed out in certain situations (water changes, gravel cleaning, etc). I'd like to add 1 more fish, and I'm leaning towards a Bicolor Blenny, which can use the barnacles also.

Welcome, glad you are here! Your rockscape is eye catching! Your perfectly fine, at this time to start with some easy, inexpensive soft corals such as zoas, leather corals, gsp and mushrooms but admire your patience, your going to be very successful.
