Just wondering how much light intensity I should be using with a dominant LPS reef? I have a brand new xr30 g5 and do not have a par meter. I was using 2 kessil a160's prior to my new xr30. I know to start off low to acclimate my corals but what is the suggested light intensity once everything is acclimated. thanks

There is a great video done by Bulk Reef Supply I would suggest watching that will send you in the right direction.

I would suggest very low to start, as in sub 25%. I have 3 G5 blue's over my SPS dominant 160G and they run at 33% on the AB+ schedule.

Hello,

What % of each light category are you using? and are you using some colors stronger at certain parts of the light cycle?

Thanks.

Under AB+ the G5 runs all channels at 100% intensity. I did not make any adjustments to the individual channels.
